The ReDIAL project, a four-year initiative funded by the EU, has significantly impacted Ghana’s agriculture sector by providing financial support and promoting innovative technologies.
Over 11,000 smallholder farmers, including 60% women and those with disabilities, have benefited from the Village Savings and Loans Association, offering 5% interest rate loans.
The project enhances soil fertility and grain threshing practices while promoting climate-resilient agriculture. Implemented across five regions, it involves a consortium of partners, including Friends of the Nation, Tropenbos Ghana, and KNUST, alongside private companies SAYeTECH and SESI Technologies.
