Springfield Group denies submitting contradictory data to government; demands apology from ACEP

Springfield Group has refuted claims by ACEP's Executive Director, Benjamin Boakye, that its recent appraisal of the Afina field contradicts earlier data used to justify the unitization of the field.

Springfield's CEO, Kevin Okyere, clarified that the company has only just begun its appraisal program and has not yet collected or processed the necessary data for a report.

Okyere dismissed Boakye’s claims as false and demanded an apology, warning of legal action if not retracted. The dispute follows Springfield's significant Afina discovery and ongoing unitization issues with Eni over the West Cape Three Points Block 2.
