MTN Ghana reported GHS 6.1 billion in direct and indirect tax payments to the government for Q3 2024, alongside GHS 455.9 million in fees and levies, which constituted 51% of its total revenue.
Despite a revenue drop, the company achieved a profit-after-tax of GHS 3.8 billion, a 35.5% year-on-year increase. Service revenue rose 32% to GHS 12.7 billion, driven by strong growth in data, Mobile Money, and digital services.
However, voice revenue fell 3.4%. Looking ahead, MTN Ghana plans to continue investing in its platforms and network as part of its Ambition 2025 strategy.
