Telecel Ghana CEO joins dialogue on increasing digital dividends for sustainable development

Patricia Obo-Nai, CEO of Telecel Ghana, participated in a panel during Climate Week 2024 in New York, focusing on overcoming connectivity barriers and bridging the digital divide to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

She emphasized the importance of investing in digital connectivity, especially in rural areas, and enhancing digital literacy for young people.

Obo-Nai highlighted Telecel Ghana's initiatives, including free ultrasound screenings for expectant mothers and STEM training for youth.

She also discussed how effective policy-making can ensure equitable access to digital infrastructure, fostering economic growth and social inclusion.
