We’ll strongly dispute termination of FGR Bogoso and Prestea mining leases – Blue Gold

Blue Gold Bogoso Prestea Limited plans to challenge the termination of their FGR Bogoso and Prestea mining leases by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

The termination, announced on September 18, 2024, was based on reviews by the Minerals Commission and a Ministerial Committee.

Blue Gold contends that the grounds for termination are disputable and asserts that the leases remain valid during the ongoing dispute.

They have not received formal notification of the termination and have advised their employees to continue their duties, emphasizing adherence to legal processes and their continued investment in the mine.
