Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has tasked the newly appointed Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Board to collaborate with stakeholders to reduce tax non-compliance and revenue leakages.
Aiming for a tax/GDP ratio of 18%-20%, the Board is also expected to meet IMF programme benchmarks.
Inaugurated by Dr. Amin Adam, the nine-member Board is chaired by Hon. Joe Ghartey.
Dr. Amin Adam emphasized the importance of digitalization in tax administration and addressing business harassment allegations.
He assured support for the Board to enhance GRA's performance, aiming to surpass a 20% revenue-to-GDP threshold, while commending the previous Board for its achievements.
