2 Ghanaians arrested in US for fraud

Two Ghanaian-Americans, Kelvin Nkwantabisa and Justice Amoh, are in U.S. custody over wire fraud and money laundering charges totaling $7 million over three years.

Nkwantabisa, 31, also known as “Kevin Brown” and “KO,” is in Broward County jail, facing six federal charges.

Amoh, known as “Samuel Andrews,” is being prosecuted in Florida. Their co-conspirators, John Jouissance and Leshea Moore, also face charges.

The group allegedly compromised business email accounts to intercept wire transfer payments and opened shell companies to receive funds.

The scheme involved five victims, including a Coral Springs company that lost over $1.3 million. If convicted, they face decades in prison.
