Ashanti Region: 37-year-old taxi driver shot dead by suspected armed robbers

A 37-year-old taxi driver, Amos Adusei, has been shot dead by alleged armed robbers on the Kwaman-Boaman road in the Ashanti region's Afigya Kwabre North district on Saturday night.

This incident has shocked residents as it's the first fatal robbery in the area.

Isaac Adusei, the Assembly member and brother of the deceased, confirmed the incident, stating that the body is at the morgue and police investigations have begun.

The police plan to conduct a postmortem before releasing the body to the family.
