Boat owner arrested following tragic accident on River Oti

The owner of a boat involved in a fatal accident on the River Oti has been arrested by Dambai Police.

Three drowned and seven were rescued when the boat capsized in windy conditions.

The Assembly Member for Dambai Lakeside Electoral Area reported ongoing efforts to find the bodies.

The arrested boat operator is cooperating with the investigation. Rescue efforts continue while survivors recover.
