The Accra Circuit Court has issued an arrest warrant for King Teye Ahwa III, a businessman and chief of Agomeda Mantseman, over alleged land fraud.

He is accused of deceiving hotelier Simon Kofi Ohene into handing over a Mercedes Benz valued at $20,000 and GH¢16,500 in cash for two acres of land in Shai Hills.

Mr. Ohene later discovered the land was claimed by others and reported the matter. Police investigations revealed the accused lacked ownership of the land and provided no documentation.

King Teye Ahwa III admitted to the offense during questioning but failed to resolve the issue.

The case is adjourned to December 18, 2024.
