An Accra High Court has directed the lawyers of Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), the embattled CEO of the defunct gold dealership firm Menzgold, to file witness statements by October 26, 2024.

The trial judge believes the three-month period is sufficient for the defense to gather statements and for the prosecution to review them. NAM1's lawyers plan to call over three witnesses.

NAM1 faces 39 charges, including gold sales without a license, defrauding investors, and money laundering involving over GH₵340 million.
