Today, the High Court in Accra will decide on the admission of an audio recording involving Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame and businessman Richard Jakpa as evidence in the ongoing ambulance case.

The recording, pivotal in the recent mistrial decision, is being reintroduced by defense lawyers representing Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

They argue it is crucial for proving charges of financial loss to the state against the Attorney General.

The AG objects, questioning its relevance and asserting it does not substantiate the charges. The court's ruling on this matter will determine the next steps in the trial.
