A 16-year-old boy has been charged with manslaughter after a high-speed crash in East Legon that left two people dead.
The court heard that he was leading a convoy of three SUVs, aiming to show off the speed of his mother’s Jaguar F-Pace Sport.
The incident occurred after the teen, having obtained the car keys from a family assistant, led a convoy of friends from A&C Mall.
During the drive, he collided with an Acura, causing a fiery crash.
The accused pleaded not guilty and has been remanded, with his passports surrendered. He is set to reappear in court on November 7.
