Four officials of Somé Senior High School remanded

Four staff members of Somé Senior High School in Ketu South Municipality have been remanded by the Circuit Court at Tokor for allegedly stealing food meant for students.

The Assistant Headmistress, Bursar Richard Ametorxe, Matron Yorm Dzikumu, and Storekeeper Alex Obuadi pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Ghana Education Service has interdicted the Bursar, Matron, and Storekeeper and formed a committee to investigate within two weeks.

The investigation began after a search on May 24, conducted by alumni and an assembly member, revealed food items and cleaning supplies in the Matron's possession.
