Thirty-four residents of Ayawaso West Municipality in Greater Accra face legal action for neglecting to maintain clean environments and participate in the Ga Homowo clean-up exercise.
This initiative, led by Ga Mantse King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is crucial for preparing for the Homowo celebration.
Municipal Chief Executive Sandra Ahenkorah emphasized strict enforcement of environmental regulations, closing shops and businesses for the clean-up.
She stated that non-compliance would lead to court summons, stressing the importance of community involvement in maintaining cleanliness during significant events like Homowo.
