Occupants of vehicles both private and commercial were ordered to stop by the robbers who were reportedly posing like police officers on duty.

Those who failed to stop had the glasses of their vehicles vandalised by the robbers while those who could not give them money were also subjected to severe beatings leaving one person in a critical condition.

Some passengers also sustained gun wounds in the process.

The robbers who were reportedly between 14 to 18 in number are believed to be Nigerian and Nigerien (Fulani) origin per their accent.

A lot of the passengers were robbed of their property and other belongings during the period of attack which started around 10pm.

The robbers then fled the scene before the police got to the scene.

The Dominase District Commander DSP Paul Ankam also confirmed the attack and indicated that the police are doing everything possible to bring the perpetrators to book.
