Kasoa: Suspect charged with murder for shooting soldier, case adjourned to June 20

Ben Lord Ababio, the prime suspect in the fatal shooting of a military officer near the Millennium City Police Station in Kasoa, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Claiming to be a chief, Ben Lord has been in custody since his court appearance on May 3, 2024.

After completing investigations, the police referred the case to the Attorney General, who confirmed the charges. Another individual, Nana Amoh Kwakye, is also charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The court has adjourned the proceedings until June 20, 2024.
