Land guards lock Gomoa Assin traditional council, assault residents

Residents of Gomoa Assin have been gripped by fear after land guards locked the palace, assaulted locals, and prevented the Queen Mother from performing rituals.

The land guards have taken control of the palace, blocking access and causing widespread anxiety.

In interviews with Adom News, residents described the terror inflicted by these guards, with 95 percent living in fear.

Paramount Queen Mother Obaatanpa Ama Eduwa has called on the Inspector General of Police to intervene and stop the violence and intimidation, emphasizing the dire nature of the situation and the threat to community safety.
