Man murdered over cat

A man has been murdered by his neighbour over a cat at Gomoa Ojobi, a farming community in the Central Region, MyNewsGh.com reports.

According to the police in the area, 36-year-old Kenneth Arhin alias Kofi Sa now deceased went to suspect Kweku Anu’s house at Gomoa Kweikrom and complained to him about how his cat has been stealing his fishes.

In cause of the complaint, both parties ended up quarrelling and Kenneth Arhin then took a piece of iron rod and used it to hit the suspect’s head injuring him in the process.

The suspect forcibly took the iron rod from Kenneth Arhin and used it to stab his neck which left Arhin bleeding profusely and died at the spot.

Suspect Kweku Anu has since been arrested and detained in Police cells to assist investigation while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Trauma and Specialist hospital mortuary at Winneba for preservation pending autopsy.
