The suspect, Newwel Gavu, who allegedly damaged a monument and signposts at Kotoka International Airport Roundabout in Accra, will face prosecution on Monday, September 2.

He was arrested on Saturday by the Ghana Police Service after being alerted by vigilant members of the public and Airport security.

The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue, and the police have praised the public and Airport security for their quick action, assuring that all legal processes will be followed to ensure justice is served.
