One dead, 4 wounded after robbers attacked gold dealership in Mankranso

A tragic incident occurred in Mankranso, Ashanti region, where a gang of armed robbers attacked a gold dealership shop, resulting in one fatality.

The robbery took place around 7 p.m. on Friday, August 23, when at least three robbers stormed the shop.

Attempts by bystanders to resist led to the robbers opening fire, injuring five people.

One victim, identified as Kwame, was fatally shot in the abdomen, while four others were injured and treated at hospitals.

The robbers escaped with gold, money, and valuables.

The police are actively pursuing the suspects.
