One stabbed to death during fight at wake-keeping; 5 arrested

Five individuals have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old boy during a fight at a wake-keeping event in Danchira Torklo, Ga South Municipality.

The motive is unclear, but a dispute over a woman is suspected. The Unit Committee Chairman, Solomon Nii Teiko, has appealed to the Inspector General of Police to address security challenges in the area, including providing vehicles, motorcycles, and additional personnel to combat criminal activities.

Particularly those who have involved land guards, are causing unrest in Danchira and its surroundings. The exact cause of the fight is still under investigation.
