Sissala: Four remanded in Tumu for allegedly robbing a mobile money vendor

The Tumu Magistrate Court has remanded four individuals—Sumaila Tembieru, Hamidu Muniru, Sumaila Issahaku, and Salifu Abu—in custody for allegedly robbing a mobile money vendor in Tumu, Upper West Region.

The suspects were arrested on July 19 following a series of robberies targeting commuters in Sissala East Municipality.

The mobile money vendor, Voguworun Gadafi, was robbed of GHC25,000 and two mobile phones on June 17.

The suspects were identified through police investigations and a recognition by the victim.

They will remain in custody until their next court appearance on July 29.
