The Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) in Kasoa has arrested three women, including a teacher, for allegedly stealing a baby.

The suspects approached the baby's mother, Abigail Addison, under the guise of offering financial aid during her pregnancy.

After Abigail gave birth, the suspects tricked her into believing her baby needed medical treatment, then claimed the baby had died and been buried.

Suspicious of their actions, Abigail's landlord reported them to the police.

The suspects are now in custody, and investigations are ongoing.

Abigail's mother praised DOVVSU for their swift response.
