Two best friends fight over loan repayment, one dead

A Security Guard at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Kwame Dwomoh has been gruesomely murdered by his best friend Nii Teiko alias 'Food' over a loan disagreement, MyNewsGh.com has learnt.

MyNewsGh.com confirmed from the Korle Bu Police that the deceased Kwame Dwomo had guaranteed a loan from a private financial institution for the suspect Nii Teiko ‘Food’ who is a driver's mate with a ‘toilet puller’ vehicle.

Food is said to have failed to be making the mandatory monthly instalments as was agreed forcing the company to fall on the deceased who is a government worker and were deducting the amount from his salary.

He was said to have confronted the suspect who promised to reimburse him giving some flimsy explanations as to why he failed to meet his part of the bargain.

Consequently, he refused to keep his promise and was once again confronted by the deceased and in the process tempers flared resulting in fisticuffs between the two best friends.

The suspect was said to have picked a big stone and hit Kwame Dwomo. Kwame collapsed after which the suspect escaped from the scene.

Kwame Dwomo was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival and has since been deposited at the morgue of the same facility pending an autopsy.

Meanwhile, the suspect is said to be on the run and has been declared wanted by the police with calls to his close associates to assist the police in apprehending him.
