Two injured as armed robbers attack gold dealer at Odumasi

In Odumasi, Asante Akyem Central, armed robbers attacked gold-buying agent Nuhu, injuring him and stealing an undisclosed amount of money.

The attack occurred around 7:00 pm as workers were finishing for the day.

Eyewitnesses reported over ten robbers in white masks who fired warning shots and demanded money.

They shot Nuhu in both legs and injured another victim, both of whom are now receiving treatment at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Police arrived after the robbers fled, and no arrests have been made as investigations continue.
