Ghanaian man tragically shot dead in US buried

Edward Nana Kwame Fordjour, a 42-year-old Ghanaian man tragically shot in the U.S., has been laid to rest in a solemn ceremony attended by grieving family and friends.

Known as Nana Kwame, he left behind his wife, Abena Difie Danquah, and their three young children, aged 11, 4, and 2.

Fordjour was shot five times on May 4, 2024, in Newark, Delaware, and died four days later at Christiana Care Hospital.

The New Castle County Police’s Major Crimes Unit and Evidence Detection Unit are investigating the circumstances of his death.
