UK riots: We’ve not neglected Ghanaian community – Ghana’s High Commission

The Ghana High Commission in the UK and Ireland has refuted claims of neglecting the Ghanaian community during recent riots across the UK.

In a statement, the Commission highlighted its proactive measures, including regular communication with Ghanaian associations and advising members to avoid unrest-prone areas.

The Commission has also shared real-time information on riot locations and is verifying reports of attacks on Ghanaians, though none have been confirmed.

The High Commission reassured Ghanaians that it remains committed to their safety, in line with the Geneva Convention's protections for civilians.
