The burial for Adu Boakye, the Ghanaian man tragically shot dead on a Toronto bus, took place at 10 Belfield Road, Toronto, followed by his cremation and burial at Beechwood Cemetery.

Family members, including his distraught wife and children, attended the ceremony, supported by an online fundraiser that raised over $25,000.

Boakye was shot in a random attack near Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue in February, suffering fatal wounds.

The other victim, a 16-year-old boy, survived.

Police have released a suspect's photo but made no arrests, describing the suspect as a young male wearing black clothing and a face covering.
