Sulemana Braimah, Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, has raised alarms over the rising dangers faced by journalists under President Akufo-Addo's administration.
Speaking on Joy FM, Braimah highlighted that over 70 media rights violations have occurred, surpassing the records of previous governments.
He noted the severity and impunity of these incidents, including the 2019 murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
Braimah expressed concern over the lack of government action to address these violations, emphasizing the growing fear and repression journalists face in Ghana today.
