Accra to host inaugural Green Film Festival

The inaugural Green Film Festival in Accra, scheduled for October 11-12, 2024, aims to merge storytelling with urgent environmental themes.

It seeks to inspire sustainable living and ecological responsibility through impactful films exploring climate change, biodiversity, activism, food, climate displacement, and wildlife conservation.

Supported by key figures in media and climate science, the festival features daily screenings of thought-provoking short films, interactive workshops, and an eco-themed park event.

Organizers Isaac Aboah and Joshua Amponsem emphasize its role in mobilizing communities and promoting environmental stewardship, inviting filmmakers, activists, and the public to engage in shaping a more sustainable future.
