Adjetey Anang advocates storytelling as powerful tool in fight against galamsey

Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang highlighted the importance of storytelling in tackling societal issues like illegal mining (galamsey).

In an interview, he noted that creatives can influence change more effectively through their art than through protests, subtly incorporating pressing issues into their narratives.

While supporting lawful demonstrations, his comments follow a recent protest by Democracy Hub against galamsey, where around 40 protesters were arrested, raising public concerns over their detention.
