Artistes who mime are lazy – Wiyaala

Afro-pop singer, Wiyaala says she will never mime because she is not a lazy artiste.

“I love live music. It’s who I am. And I always say there is no way I will mime. Miming is for lazy people. I’m not lazy; I’m hardworking,” the eclectic performer noted.

Wiyaala's songs are a selection of vibrant Afro-pop anthems sung largely in Sissala and English, but with a poppy catchiness inspired by Western Culture.

She has performed at prestigious events including WOMAD UK, Shambala Festival, Festival No6, Freedom Festival, Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, Miss Ghana, Voices of The Revolution UK Tour, and on BBC’s Radio3 in 2016.
