Bawumia’s $80 bn market value claim for Spotify, false!

At the Ghana Music Xperience (GMX) launch on October 30, 2024, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia claimed that Spotify's market value was $80 billion, comparing it to Ghana's economy.
However, DUBAWA fact-checked this statement and found it false.
Multiple financial sources, including Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, and The Wall Street Journal, listed Spotify’s market value at around $77.3 billion as of October 31, 2024, slightly below the Vice President’s claim.
