At the launch of the 2024 National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFAC) in Accra, former Mentor contestant Nene Narh alleged he was rejected by Deputy Minister Mark Okraku-Mantey during auditions.
Okraku-Mantey, known for his stern judging on the show, admitted the challenge of remembering thousands of contestants over the years.
Despite the claim, he praised Narh for his personal growth.
NAFAC, set for October 25-31 in Techiman, Bono East, showcased high-profile attendees including Hon. Mark Okraku-Mantey and other cultural leaders.
