Beyoncé to star in NFL half-time show on Christmas Day

Beyoncé will headline the NFL's Christmas Day half-time show as the Houston Texans face the Baltimore Ravens.

She’ll debut songs from her country-inspired album Cowboy Carter, featuring collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Post Malone, which is up for multiple Grammy awards.

Netflix, which now streams NFL games, teased special guest appearances.

This marks Beyoncé’s return to the NFL stage after her 2013 Super Bowl headlining performance and 2016’s record-breaking show with Coldplay and Bruno Mars.

The NFL’s Christmas games, a tradition since the 1980s, now aim to expand global viewership through Netflix’s new streaming deal, following the platform’s success with live sports like boxing.

Games will also air on NFL+ and local broadcasts in team markets.
