Gospel musician Sonnie Badu advised gospel artists to balance spirituality and commercial aspects in their music, warning against prioritizing profit over spiritual value.
While supporting the idea of monetizing gospel music, he stressed that artists should not lose the spiritual essence of their craft.
Badu noted that uploading songs on digital platforms incurs costs, so financial gain is a fair expectation.
He added that overly focusing on spirituality without commercial consideration might lead to regrets.
Badu also announced his upcoming “Afro Monty” concert on November 29 at Independence Square, encouraging Ghanaians to attend for a unique experience.
