The Ghanaian rapper who took a bold step to meet Rick Ross at Kempinski Hotel upon his arrival in the country has disclosed what informed his decision to meet the American rapper and perform to him.

“When I do music, most of the time, I’m able to predict certain things. So I have a new song called ‘Money’. The lyrics goes like ‘Money be the only difference between me, you and Rick Ross.’” He mentioned. “I wrote that song about a month ago and all of a sudden I heard Rick Ross was coming to Ghana. I didn’t see it as just coincidence, I was like ‘God is trying to tell me something’”.
CJ Biggerman stunned Rick Ross with his rap skills on the latter’s arrival in the country and got an invitation from him to perform at Mr Eazi’s annual Detty Rave concert later that night.
According to CJ, he planned with his management to capture the attention of Rick Ross and was happy about the execution, more so when it yielded a least expected results.
“When Rock Ross picked his phone to video me, I was like, ‘damn, it’s about to happen. Like it’s actually happening’,” he recalled. “I prayed, conceived whatever I wanted to do. I told my manager that all I wanted him to do is to post me on Instagram. So when I saw him take out his phone, that was when the energy started coming because I knew this was the moment.”
Asked whether or not he would push for a collaboration with the American, CJ said though he is open for such opportunity, he will not ask for it.
He said: “I’ve done what I’m supposed to do. The principle I always live by is ‘no expectations, no disappointments.”
