The final funeral rites for Nana Akpor Kainya, father of highlife artist Lord Kenya, took place at Hero’s Park, Kumasi Sports Stadium.

Kainya, who died a month ago at 78, was honored by a touching tribute from Lord Kenya.

The event, attended by dignitaries, concluded with a Thanksgiving mass on August 10, 2024.
