Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, popularly known as Counselor Lutterodt, has parried claims that Hitz FM's, Dr. Mrs. Charlotte Oduro has taken shine as the most popular marriage counsellor in the country.

The pastoress in recent time has been in the news over her controversial stance on marriage issues on radio which has gained her some attention from would-be and couple alike.

A section of Ghanaians believe that her emergence has dwarfed the relevance of Counsellor Lutterodt who appears to be at war with almost all celebrities in the country.

Speaking Accra-based Okay FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, he said “no she has not taken over my shine at all and I am not scared she will take that from me. She was sent to confirm most of the things I have been saying and after that she will go back from where she came from”

He told host of the show, Abeiku Aggrey Santana that though she has never made the spouse of the founder of Royal Victory Family Church International, he admires most of the thing she says because they reinforce some of the points he has been making.

Counselor Lutterodt is a controversial Ghanaian marriage counsellor who has spoken about various issues in the country and has received backlash for some of his comments.

He is a Ga man from Osu, he began his educational journey at the University of Ghana Staff Village School at Legon, then went on to the City of Ghana Academy. He received his tertiary education in Accra Polytechnic where he studied Electrical Engineering and later attended Southern Medical University in China where he trained as a Biomedical Clinical Technician.

Lutterodt has been criticized on his comments about marriage and relationship. However, he describes those critiques as coming across because of poor media reportage. Some of his quotes which have received many criticisms include “When a National Service Person proposes to marry a woman, that lady should report him to the nearest police station.”

“Dating is not a relationship”, “If you are a woman and you date one man for more than two weeks then there is something wrong with you”, “Never allow a poor man to marry you. A poor man’s marriage will kill you early. And when you die you will go to hell.
