Edo Election: Mercy Johnson’s husband escapes assassination attempt
Mercy Johnson and her husband
Federal lawmaker Prince Henry Okojie survived an assassination attempt at his Uromi home on September 20. Armed men, posing as police, were thwarted by his security.
Two attackers escaped, while others were captured and reportedly confessed to being sent by local PDP leaders.
The investigation is ongoing.
