Ghana’s film industry stands on shoulders of Kwaw Ansah’s works – Juliet Asante

Kwaw Ansah, a pioneer of Ghanaian cinema, was honored with the Legendary Award at the Africa Cinema Summit’s Legacy Awards on October 9, 2024, for his significant contributions to the industry.

The event also recognized other key figures like Yvonne Nelson, AY, Kunle Afolayan, and Funke Akindele.
