Global South Arts and Health Week 2024 held in Accra

The Global South Arts and Health Week (GSAHW) Ghana Pavilion 2024, organized by various entities including Te-Apo Foundation, aimed to promote holistic health through art and education.

Held in Accra from 20th to 26th May, the festival addressed key health themes like mental health, public health, and climate change.

Mr. Christopher Bailey of WHO emphasized health as more than just the absence of disease.

Miss Doris Komla highlighted the need to tackle stroke, a leading cause of death in Ghana.

Dr. Kwasi Aboryo Ankrah showcased artworks advocating for stroke management.

The event featured workshops, performances, and discussions on health-related topics, fostering dialogue and reflection.
