Ghanaian musician Kirani Ayat has refuted claims by Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) CEO Akwasi Agyeman regarding their collaboration after a 2022 copyright dispute.
Ayat had accused the government of using his music video in a tourism promotion without consent.
The GTA compensated Ayat and agreed to future collaborations.
However, Agyeman stated that Ayat was unavailable for a December project, halting progress.
Ayat countered these claims on X, alleging the GTA has ignored his manager's calls and labeled Agyeman’s statements as false.
Despite this, the GTA remains open to working with Ayat.
