I have a new contract – Teacher Kwadwo reveals

Ghanaian teacher and comedian Michael Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Teacher Kwadwo says he has landed a new contract after an earlier deal with Technology Company, Huawei Mobile was terminated in December 2018.

The cancellation of the contract which was a huge blow to the comedian, followed a campaign by feminist group, Pepper Dem Ministries against some previous rape jokes

Although he publicly came out to apologize and announce the termination of the contract, Teacher Kwadwo denied assertions that the Ghana Education Service had suspended him because of the ‘distasteful posts’.

But in his latest skits on YouTube, Teacher Kwadwo, revealed that he now has a new contract.

Though hesitant to speak on the details, he was confident he will not ruin the new opportunity given to him.

The comedian, who is currently living with his grandparents also added in the interview that, his trials were from God and lessons have been learnt.

Denying the effect of his action on his fan base and career, Teacher Kwadwo admitted that his finances were however affected.

He also debunked rumours that he has been logged out of Facebook as punishment for his post.
