I have only 2 pictures with my father - Yvonne Nelson

Yvonne Nelson took this picture with her father on January 6, 2017. Yvonne Nelson took this picture with her father on January 6, 2017.

Actress Yvonne Nelson has finally broken her silence after the demise of her biological father.

It was reported in the early hours of Tuesday January 24, 2017 that father of A-list actress Yvonne Nelson had passed away.

Many wondered why the actress hadn’t posted any picture or updated her status on social media to confirm. Some people even thought she would never do so because Yvonne had not been in very good terms with her late dad until recently.

Today January 25 2017, Yvonne Nelson posted a photo she took with her dad on January 6 2017, saying that was one of two pictures she has with her dad.

Her caption was very touching. Our sincere condolences to Yvonne Nelson.

Check out her post below:

“Rest In Peace Father. This picture was taken on the 6th of this month…, i have only two pictures with my Father, and this is one of them…..so much I wanted to talk about…..so much I wanted to say…..but God knows best….I know you are in HEAVEN……I know we’ll meet again and talk about it all…..there were days I cried to my mum to bring me to yours……there were days I couldn’t wait to see you and talk to you just for a minute….I longed to hold your hand…..I longed to sit on your lap…..I longed for all of that……can we still do that when I see you in HEAVEN?? Can we start all over again?? Can we correct the mistakes??? I longed for you so much. I have nothing but love for you…….in His last days….he always mentioned God in everything he said…why?? Because there’s no one GREATER sleep well father”

The popular actress has not been that close to her father because while growing up, her mum has always occupied that father space in her life and she never really mentioned his name or shared any image of her dad publicly, until his death.
