Speaking on the 'Girls Aloud Podcast' on November 19, 2024, she shared how these traumas have made her hesitant to pursue serious partnerships.

“I’ve been through the worst abusive relationships, and I’m scared to officially be with a man,” she admitted.

While not actively seeking a partner, Sista Afia remains open to love, emphasizing her focus on self-healing and personal growth.

She also disclosed her deliberate choice to avoid dating industry colleagues to maintain a boundary between her personal and professional lives. However, she expressed openness to dating within the industry if the right person came along.
