Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Susuka’ hits 1 million views on YouTube

Getting a million views on YouTube with a video is no joke to artistes from Ghana because of the population and internet literates in the country.

One needs to be a popular musician in the country or the song must be one of the most popular in the country before people will jump on YouTube to check the video out.

Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Bisa Kdei and few other musicians have hit million and overviews with their videos after months of uploading them on the global video-sharing website. Whilst few of our secular musicians can be named as artistes from the Ghana who have hit 1 million and overviews on the platform bought by Google in 20016, same cannot be said about the gospel musician.

The newest artistes to join Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Joyce Blessing, Bisa Kdei and others who have over million views for a single video uploaded on YouTube is rapper Kofi Kinaata. Kinaata’s hit song ‘Susuka’ has over 1 Million views on the video hosting website according to checks by Zionfelix.net.

‘Susuka’ won Kofi Kinaata “Song Writer of The Year’ at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
