Following backlash over his absence from John Claude Tamakloe’s funeral, KK Fosu issued an apology on July 22, 2024.

He clarified his comments on Hitz FM, expressing regret if they upset Tamakloe’s family and the public.

Fosu also called for a prompt police investigation into the accident that caused Tamakloe’s death.
