PJ Morton releases new album ‘Cape Town to Cairo’

PJ Morton has launched his transformative album 'Cape Town To Cairo' after a 30-day journey across Africa, featuring collaborations with Fireboy DML, Mádé Kuti, Asa, Ndabo Zulu, and Soweto Spiritual Singers.

Recorded entirely in Africa, Morton's Grammy-winning style melds R&B, soul, gospel, pop, and jazz with African influences, celebrating a musical diaspora.

Tracks like 'Smoke & Mirrors' and 'Simunye' highlight native sounds, while 'Count On Me' delivers a global message of unity.

Morton, also pioneering as Disney's first Black composer for 'Tiana’s Bayou Adventure', gears up for a global tour, memoir release, and extensive musical engagements.
